My dadʻs family had a farm in Luluku (now where Hoʻomaluhia Gardens stay) and one of the last crops they had grown was edamame. The entire family used to grow edamame and would have these iconic ʻedamame partiesʻ where everyone would bring different foods they would make from their harvests. My dad guys made mean tofu.
